LOL! Thanks guys! I really needed it! Just in case you don't believe how clean my bench is. DAMN my OCD... a curse somewhat!!! Again I really appreciate your comments as they do cheer me up. My week at work was crazy with our annual meeting with the Board of Directors as they meet only twice a year. Best part they like to meet in one of the suites at this special place. Here's little hints where we met... Famous finish line... ' Old tires... My next car... Bet you know who he is... if not, shame on you! The gas alley... plenty of close encounters! The Pit Stop... I miss Danica Patrick... Former driver of this car... GoDaddy.com Back to my DUKW... the wheels are finally on. Way too much work on resin wheels. Nice details but 2-3 hours?!?!? Bottom part of tires have been sanded nearly flat so they can sit well. Of course they won't fit on the styrene rods... accidentally cut too much off so I had to add some then inserted metal rods so they can be attached securely. Thanks to Bones for sending me the manuals, I learned so much about those DUKWs. While they are on the beach, they deflate the tires so it can catch the sand better.

Not a bad place to have a meeting! Pretty cool, Andy.
Nice update. The time you took on the wheels will pay off in the end;) P.S. I wish I had the discipline to keep my bench as clean as yours. I'm more productive ( I think) when I have a clean bench.

Andy
You forgot to point out that the driver had control over tire inflation on the fly and could adjust the pressure at any time. Danica would probably like that feature over at NASCAR. I enjoy seeing what you have been able to do with the information, it is just wasting away here on my computer.

Yea I have to wonder what great build you could do if you weren't wasting all your time cleaning that bench.

LOL He wouldn't be able to build, he'd be distracted by the mess Great job, Andy. Are you going to put it on a beach? Maybe part in the water and part outside?

Those wheels are just right, can't wait for....................PAINT!
I have the urge to drive the 1800+ miles just to go into Andy's man cave and mess up that bench.
Warped twisted and sick you are, my kind of fellow for sure!

Great work Andy, Like Nate pointed out, the time spent on them is well worth it. I can still see that shot glass at your bench, I alway look for it Guess you'll have to start following NASCAR if you want to stalk..........errr, I mean watch Danica Patrick.

Nate- Have perfect solution... invite me over to help you clean your bench. I am the expert but I am afraid you will find few kits missing from your stash. LOL Thanks buddy! Bones- Thanks you for bringing this up! The button (stick) is conveniently located on the dashboard by the steering wheel if I am correct. Neat stuff! Like I said OCD may be a curse or I would have finished this build long time ago. Actually every night when I am done modeling I just clean and put everything away... Luigi- You are correct... messy bench is too distracting! LOL Already have a base in mind... it is sitting by the river bank awaiting for the order to proceed into the river or something like that. Already found perfect set of figures but haven't ordered it yet. No money now cause I have spent my allowance on that figure bust with the dog instead. LOL Thanks my friend! Leon- Thanks President of Wizard club! Yeah starting to look one finally... dry fitting for now so I can paint wheels separately. G- LOLOLOL! Don't you have that car with turbo booster as shown in the movie M.I.B.? It will take you only minutes to get your arse over here. You are always welcome as long as you bring a six pack of beer or few of your local showgirls. Mr T- Thanks buddy! We meet at the track every year... one of perks I have at work since one of members is with AT&T and they have the suite there of course. Joe- Sorry if I have disappointed you... I will do my best to make you happy. LOL Thanks bro! BJ- LOL! Love that shot glass... I use it to hold small parts. Something useful, right? Maybe a poster of Danica in a bikini is next if allowed by MSC... Mr Sniper- Hope we are still friends despite our disagreement? Glad you liked the wheels. Going out to do more yard work. Then see the movie Star Trek later today... I have been pondering if I should dress up like a geek or not.

Carl- I wish... too many people was bugging him and I'd rather my friend (the lady standing in front of him) to get it because she is a bigger fan than I am. I haven't decided how I will tackle the air lines to the wheels since I am painting them separately. I need to look at more pictures and figure this one out.
Bones- I agree... that's why I had to build this. I think I need to build more softskins! Am tempted to build a Higgins boat next...

G- Glad your wife is happy too. Secret of happy marriage... always make the wife happy then everybody's happy in the family. Gary- Thanks bro! Always good hearing from you. Figured some racing fans would enjoy the pictures. Feel free to join me as I usually get extra tickets to those practice days. I avoid going to the track on the race day... way too many people! Carl- Me? Duck Andy? Why not! I'd rather to be called a Duck Andy than Kiltutu Andy, don't you agree? LOL Quack Quack Quack Guys- Sorry no update... like G said, somebody has to make the wife happy. Two days of hard labor on the yard... trimming overgrown bushes, tilling garden, tomato plants and flowers planted along with more perennial plants. But managed to see the new movie Star Trek with my buddy... wow it was great... the best so far!

Always enjoy your duck'ing funny comments. Good to have you back! A'guy- Thanks! Hope I will find my way back to the bench... another busy week! Mr T- Quack! Sorry I was hoping for slower week but it is not happening. I might take a day off making it four days weekend... wife's twin sister from New Orleans is staying here. Say prayers for me that her husband fixes us another big bowl of gumbo.
