Sorry Paul,no piccies of the 'Chaps' yet....I was looking for another one to go in the back seat of the Javelin at Telford, cos the guys I got the other ones off were there.Coulda save meself a ferkin Tenner in postage!!!!!!,cos the chaps were only like £3.00 on his stand!!! Anyway, whilst I was priming a few bits today with me Modelmates rattler,I got some stuff on the CP of this little beauty... Starboard CP panel Port CP panel PIT various... Final shot,Pit dry fitted.... Not a lot to see,eh? Colour tomorrow,SWMBO permitting.... Sorry for the poor pics, but the MC is being 'adjusted' at the mo,not that I take the best pics anyway!!!

But I'm sure this will build up into a really nice kit OOB,which is how I'm gonna do it. Neems, good to see ya poke your nose in mate ....You Ok for a little Fat fella to pay a visit Saturday???...If not,can I pop down instead?

As I alluded to in another thread,I started the Airfix 1/48 Re pop of the venerable EE Lightning.I have always had an affection for these awesome aircraft since I saw them flying at Farnborough when I was 9,0r 10? I then came across them again, when my father was stationed in Singapore, late 60's early 70's,when we had a visit to RAF Tengah, home of 74 Tiger Squadron, who were operating these as the time. The one I'm going to build,is the one I sat in the cockpit of,all those years ago.I have a slide of me in the 'pit. Here is where I'm up to so far.... I'll start slapping the paint about in the cockpit tomorrow, hopefully. Then I can throw the rest of her together!!! Any,and all comments welcome,as per the norm!!!

Bill,I'll forgive you that one mate!!...But it just don't sound the same, coming from you!! As a bit of an aside, the Javelins finished serving in Singapore,IIRC,so I'm in the process of checking the timelines of both a/c,to see if they were actually there at the same time.
