Looks good Jeremy Nice preshade ! In the pic the underside does look a bit too green ,but its most likely just the lighting ,I know the colour you used and it is a pretty good match for Sky ...Keep at it mate Chris. Thanks, you are rite, what's I thought spitfire's underside should be too light. So Anyway I'm studying & learning with spitfire original colour range Ref.in the future. Mate.

Chris S. - Another Good news, spitfire's underside is not bit too green, spitfire at outside natural day light so Lots of better so i thinking of my mobile camera's len is blind colour range. Or I think Perhaps - spitfire flew at sky underside colour is too bright and warm make less of bit green also in factory cold and dark - make stronger of colour. So what's difference of some electronics len device, some people / some modellers - blind colour range via light / dark / stronger / focus / zoom and etc... so mystery !

Thank you for your comment... Progress work slowly with spitfire due I was busy with my garden, family and friends at outside via good sunshine for long of the weekend then rain coming soon by tonight just back my hobby workbench.. Airbrushed on spits topside - Dark earth - looking good painted smooth on surface. Next Dark green for Camo.

Solid foundation for the camo pattern to come Jeremy. It's that time of year when gardens/lawns steal precious bench time, there's no way around it!

Nice brown coat Dunno if you knew it, but the camo on the spit had sharp edges, as they used rubber mats as paint masks.

Thank you for your comment.
I Enjoyed - Dark green Camo by Handbrush.. Luigi - without masks & Airbrushing due 1/72 is too small of area also saving my time. Clear varnish { satin medium } will be overall on spitfire by airbrushing so later. Sorry - My mobile`s camera - photos poorly :-Sso I hope getting new camera better one.
