Man, I got the same set for Xmas but I haven't used them yet... planning to use them on the DUKW wheels. Did you know there's seven wheels for DUWK? Can't wait to see your report!

You aint the only one brother!!!!!!!! Leon, great paints, grap some plastic and try them out. you'll get the hang of them. Is that the nato filter? if it is, you may want to thin it with white spirits and it's pretty thick. Again, test on some scrap first.

Leon
I am also curious about the AK paints, I have never used them and would like to see how they do. The Base Coat on the 109 is excellent I hope I don't miss it when you are done.
Bones.

nice additions to the armoury, I find I have to thin the washes and filters slightly as to me they are too thick straight out the bottle.

Leon they are a great addition ,.but if you are using them for the first time spray the cam pattern on some plastic card or an old model and have a play use their thinner for best result. they dry very different to how they go on I tend to thin my washes and build up thr effect.

Finally received my grey primer from AK. Their yellow as well and modulation sets, as well as their weathering sets work awesome. Have used the grease and grime on a few cars and trucks and am getting ready to use them on the M21 Half Track

I have Ak 025 and I find it excellent. It has a semigloss finish that suits perfectly fuel and oil stains.
