been trying to follow along with all these in progress builds on this site but there is no way possible. time just is not on my side. i could post for nine or ten hours a day and not be able to stay up with everything.
got to reading leons thread and had to voice this.
there is some outstanding work going on by so many members on this forum. but i just cannot keep up.
so for all of you................stunning work. fantastic.
its funny i get on this site every day. i have the best intentions. i want to post to all the threads. then i get called away, come back hours later. the page is still open and i havent done anything.

LOLOL! I think I found a perfect solution to keep up with all posts. I find it helpful if I wait until late at night when things are much quieter and slower here. Those guys in UK go to bed very early so it really helps... time zone? Are you telling me it has something to do with the time zone?!?!?

It was bound to happen. The community here has grown and like any growing community, the volume of posts and such has increased dramatically in just a few short months. Don't feel pressured to respond to everything that's going on Joe, that's becoming increasingly impossible as you've discovered! Visiting the forums and participating here should be a fun event, not a stressful one, so relax and comment when/where you can. There's no expectation for everyone to be everywhere all the time...otherwise we'd all never sleep! Well maybe not Gary...

I know exactly how you feel! Would love to be able to comment on EVERYTHING, but it just isn't in the cards (if I want to do any actual building, that is!). Heck, I'm lucky if I make it through page one of "most recent threads" most days.

Dicks the only person I know that blogs on just about everything, I think he was at sea for so long hes grown 8 arms and has 8 pcs, its the only way I think he can do it like everyone I struggle to build and paint and leave a few comments on various blogs but as has been said its because this site has grown so much with so many incredible builds going on. Got to agree. For a totally unorganised guy like me it's just not possible to keep up. I just hope I catch up sometime!

Joe,after all the comments on my recent thread,i do realize this is a very busy forum and it gets busier each day.Dicky hit the nail right on the head when he said the comments are nice but more importantly is the views.I can't post a comment to every one but i can pop in for a look.IF anyone looks in on a build i'm doing and doesn't have time to post a comment,I will be a happy camper knowing that at least someone had a look, and that will be good enough for me.

Boo, That's what the Gallery is for, no? It's where finished builds should be posted once they are done. That's its stated purpose at any rate. Having a link in the Gallery post back to the blog is a good idea, but that's up to the individual as some users post 'running' galleries and others post individual threads there as a new build is completed. Others also post builds there that are done but which don't have a blog attached, so it's a little more complicated there. On a broader note, for those who are having trouble keeping up it may be your chosen method of reading/navigating the site's that's causing some of the 'stress' or inability to keep up with stuff. The Recent Threads is not the best way to do that IMHO, instead I've found the best way is to use the "new" post designation inside the sub-boards and navigate that way to check on threads that have new posts to them. The Recent Threads does serve a purpose but it's a feed for the entire forum across ALL the sections and boards...trying to keep up that way might now be akin to walking on a treadmill, you'll never get to your final destination as new stuff will be constantly entering it. To each his own, the forum has many different ways for you to navigate and enjoy what's here. Some of them are obvious, some are less so.

Having tried to keep up with the Forum, and failed miserably, most of the time ....It has got to the stage where I post a 'Like it' hit in what I manage to read, let alone what I ACTUALLY manage to comment on!!!!!!....AND,I still miss threads!!!!
