You're not alone in the heat department Tony, back up over 100 again today...and what a coincidence, I had yard duty too! Nice to see the two together at last, they make quite the pair in contrast with the different schemes.

Camo applied so what do you think? Don't JIVE me now. I was going to spray a base color blend coat but was out and had to order some paint from Sprue Bros. to mix some more. Waiting for your opinions Tony lee

Camo looks great!!! I would spray some of the base coat to fix the overspray. Believe me I like the pattern...

Like I said Andy, ran out of the base color. That's why the dark yellow is so light because I figured the over spray of green would bring it back as well as the weathering.
Paid extra for Fed Ex to get the paint order here faster.
Thanks Tony lee

Pattern looks good Tony! I would recommend you spray a mist coat of the yellow (not the green) to soften the pattern and tie it together. Doing a mist coat of green may cause the yellow portions to shift tones and become kind of pea-soup-ish while spraying the yellow as a mist coat will lighten/fade the green just a bit and make it easier to weather as a lighter tone vs. the darker green. Just my 2c!

From what i've read "T" not all of the late war schemes had the brown, only green and yellow. Just thought I would be different from the masses for the interest value if nothing else. Just the redneck way you know Tony lee

Thank You Kindly Bill The Flak 41 instructions tell you to place the Mauser rifles in the brackets on the upper part of the casement walls, just why they would carry them on a training base in the middle of nowhere is beyond me. Since the Flak 37 was in a combat zone that's where I stored them. Photos of the 37 also show that the crew hung their packs on small hooks found along the top edge of the casement and even though they all but cover up the rifles that's where I put them. It's FRIDAY people Have a GREAT weekend Tony lee
