I would love to jump on the wagon and start working on this with you! Unfortunately I just don't have as much time to dedicate to building as I'd like. New house, pregnant wife, very very busy at work. I'm lucky if I get 8 solid build hours a week. But, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you do with the kit!

Yep Carl plastic barrel but not in halves. Adam you're welcome to jump in anytime you know. The gun looks like it's going to be more of a build than the tank part,so far it's been easy. Step #1---#5 Great parts fit, easy clean up. Just that little bit of bench time wore me out. Oh well what don't kill ya makes you stronger Tony lee

Tony, you are dead on about the Gun being the build. I built the same gun but on the trailers. I will say this, it is a FUN build. or at least I thought so.

Looking good Tony . Hey Tony it sounds like the gun barrel is slide molded then . One more question about it , is there rifling ? I've gotten spoiled on having that detail provided .
Take care of yourself my friend !

The barrel has rifling Carl 8-)in fact there are two barrels in the kit, what the other one is for will need investigating.

if my memory serves me right, which it may not be due to serious lack of sleep, the 88 i built on the trailers didn't have riffling. so, bronco may have updated the gun portion of the kit with a better barrel.

Onward Folks I skipped step six for now, mostly PE tool brackets and tools. Step #7,8,9 and 10 starts you building the gun. easy enough construction but the breech gets real busy. The barrel is a three piece affair and getting all three to line up straight takes time. Adam I checked the other barrel and it has rifling also but has a different length overall? ?? Hope to see you again tomorrow Tony lee

Tony thanks for looking ! This one is sounding like a kit that I must have . Been looking at it as it was . So you know this will be an interesting build I will follow . Maybe it has the barrels for the Flak 41 and Flak 37 ?

That maybe but if it's for a 37 you're going to be short a bunch of parts Gun carriage framework is totally different from the 41. I've got a Tamiya Flak 37 in the stash for a future mod bash. Tony lee

OH BROTHER bunches and bunches of parts. I put in a couple of hours before bed last night just to get a head start on it for today.
Found a big mistake in the instruction that's why that one control box has a glue mark on the front of it. I'll mark the step drawing and post it tomorrow, too tired right now.
Thanks guys Cheers Tony lee

I didn't notice that glue mark before you mentioned it Tony .
I wouldn't want the job of making the drawing for a complicated kit like this ! Still , you'd think that kind of thing could be caught and corrected before publication .
See you here tomorrow .
