Hi everyone. I'm going to try to revive the NachtPanther within a couple of weeks. First of all: some shots to remind some of you what's it all about: Now, I never was 100% happy with the paintjob so I'm seriously thinking about redoing it. There are two options what I'm thinking about: 1. Panzergrey with some red oxide parts and maybe a bit of dark yellow here and there 2. Dark Yellow with some parts in red oxide primercolor. Not sure which one will work out best, so I'll be happy if you gents help me with the choice Thanks for lookin' Cheers

Hi fellas, thanks for the help. I think I'm goin' for the panzergrey...I bought the AK color mod set a while a go for the Sturer but I'll first use it on the NP. Tobias that camo looks cool as well. Maybe I can try that one but replacing the green with grey. How did you obtain the discs? Bodge: you completely read my mind chap gonna have to do a fair amount of sanding/polishing though because the previous paintjob was very crude. Hope all will work out ^^ Cheers

The discs were made from a pe part from Dragon. It was for the 7,5 cm gun, a part from the muzzel brake.

Very nice Wout that is a perfect camo for a prowling NachtPanther you cant go wrong with Tammy paints i have used them for the past 2 years no other paint comes close the only thing is it takes a few coats to get a solid colour which in turn leaves a dusty surface at times do you suffer from this Wout? would a ab dust extractor help? any way your JP is awesome i did prefer the naked one tho!!!! lol keep the awesome work coming mate.

Hi Wouter, Love the grey camo, I read somewhere that in the last days of May '45 some Panzers were found in a blue-grey scheme like that used in the early 40's. Love the camo... Did I say that already ;D

Dan, many thanks fella. Loving the naked one ey? ;D Yeah, she was a little special and shiny (my first 'bling' winner ^^). Glad you like the camo though . I hear you concerning the Tammy paints, can get a dusty grainy finish sometimes (I had it especially with their Dark Yellow/Buff mix). Someone suggested me to add a bit of Smoke to the mix and since then I didn't have the problem anymore. Hiya Steve, thanks chap, and thanks for the info, I didn't know that! And yeah, you said it allready ;D, but I don't mind you saying it often Cheers

WOW! Love the camo job... I want to try that on one of late Panzers one day. Glad to hear you are finally happy with it.
Same here... I noticed AK Interactive bottles are very fragile that the nose part comes off easily if you squeeze hard enough unlike Vallejo bottles. This is something AK guys should be aware of...

Hiya Andy, thanks a lot fella, glad it can be of some inspiration And I was lucky that the NP was still in it's box when the paintbottle 'exploded'...otherwise it would have been a nightmare Cheers

Hiya fellas, many thanks, I'm glad y'all like the chipping and the update so far . I must say it took some time before I continued the build - since I wasn't happy with the initial paintwork - but since I did this camo I really started to enjoy this one again. Sadly - doin' nightshifts now I don't find much time to model... Dan: I was out of supply of some colors for the trackmix I usually use, so this time another shade and I like how it looks indeed: it's a mix of Tamiya Buff, Flat Earth and a bit of Hull Red. Can't say how much from each since I always mix on the go. Hope this helps a bit Cheers
