Yo Brotha Gary, I just noticed something. What did you use to get the decals to snuggle down so nicely on the sides of the turret?

Yo Brotha Gary, I just noticed something. What did you use to get the decals to snuggle down so nicely on the sides of the turret? Hiya Jeff, I use Micro Sol to soften the decal and then GENTLY work it around corners and into creases. I do use Micro Sol even on flat surfaces so it will lay down nice and true, like their painted on. Eddy, thanks my man!! Im goin further than i usually do with this weathering....kind of an experimental project for me, on several levels.

Dicky, that's what I said. How could this be done? I am very surprised that there wasn't a tear in the Space Time Continuum. It could have spelled disaster for us all and ended modeling as we know it. To take such a chance is unfathomable and truly beyond my comprehension. To put all of Mankind in such a perilous position shows a blatant disregard for all that is good and decent in this world. For one man to so frivolously act on an idea that could have such irreparable consequences to the Human Race is unthinkable. Oh.......Wait.......I forgot......He's Jedi Never mind

Right on brother Bill, Great advise. Bill, i actually used Humbrol Enamel Matt 72 to do my fading on the Turret & Hull tops. I thinned and blended it alot so it wouldnt over power the Grey/Blue tint, but i liked the end result. Its subtle, but thats what i wanted.

Well played Brother Boggs. I just have to go back to the color mod. I know you where a little nervous about how it looked at the start, but it's really coming into the sweet zone with every step you take

Damn Gary, that came out awesome brother. Something about the panzer gray IV's that look very cool. Been too hot and humid here to do anything at the bench, but now after seeing this, I need to get my butt in gear and finish mine.
