Looks like a cool project Tobias. Off to a good start already. Being an Acadamy kit how are the parts and fit ?

Thanks guys. The kit is really great, it was my first Academy kit and everything fits perfect. The tracks were build in 20 min. Maybe some smaller parts have to be replaced, but the rest is very, very good.

Thanks guys. The tracks are like the tracks in the Tamiya 1/48 kits. Easy to build.

Thanks a lot. But I´m not sure with the wheels. Maybe I´ll repaint it, the Chips are a Little to much.

Hmm. Im no tanker at all [the Mk. IV is my first and the Ko-Gata will follow], but I tried the hairspray method on several other objects. Have you ever tried it like that? Very simple to use and very controllable [depends on how many coats of hairspray you use] - the less spray, the more subtle the effect.

Moving quickly on this one Tobias!! Look fine too! I am liking the wheel, but you could try adding another layer over mapping it if you wanted too! Either way keep up the great work!!

I used Hairspray on many models, but I´m not sure if I should use it here. I´ll think about the wheels for a while.

Theres no "perfect way" anyways. Your model - your rules.

Hi Tobias- have you thought about using a piece of sponge with the dunkelgelb- (almost chipping in reverse) instead of repainting and stripping back to the red-oxide? P

I´m not sure what I will do with the wheels. But I´ll post the result here, that´s for sure
