Hi all, shipping rates are outrageous for sending stuff across the pond .Just cost me $24.00 to send a 4oz. envelope with 1 sprue of parts to Germany. Needless to say any future sales will be in the US only.

Yep, it's expensive to ship internationally...and won't get any cheaper anytime soon! I feel your pain Leon.

I hear you guys! Sent a 3 oz. package not too long ago and it was about $14US. The price was different depending on what and how it was sent. I opted to add no insurance thinking it would have been cheaper to buy the piece all over again and then have it send direct if needed. This did hit the modelling community hard as there are a number of great places on both side of the pond we all use and now we have all repositioned ourselves to order cost effectively. Even the reviews from a number of sights changed on the distribution due to this. Just the way of the world.
For the record the extra tax that is applied Mark is just BS! There needs to be some sort of reform for that!!

No kidding.... a box of Oreo cookies and a T-shirt for a friend in Denmark last Christmas. $55! Most expensive cookies ever for sure!
