Last November I came across a Buffalo Pitts steam roller displayed outside a quarry and construction company in Santee, CA. I shot extensive photos of the whole thing, with many detail closeups. Anyway, I finally got around to posting these pics to my website, hopefully some will find them useful for modeling reference or simply enjoy seeing this great steel beast: You can see the rest of the pics here: www.raydunakin.com/Site/Buffalo_Pitts_Steam_Roller.htmlEnjoy!

I don't know if that's the original paint, however I couldn't detect any other colors showing through where it's chipped or scratched, so it could be. Unfortunately there wasn't anyone around who I could ask for info about this equipment.
Oh, and I just realized it's not in Santee, it's in San Diego just west of Santee.
