Nope, not a COLTS fan anymore after what they did to Peyton. I now follow the Broncos, Lions and Chiefs. Wow... did you see Peyton lay almost 500 yds passing and 7 TD's on the Super Bowls Chumps... er I mean, the champs?  Since I know longer race HO slot cars, watching football is my ultimate pastime. I do not belong to any Fantasy League or even play the numbers, just a big fan. Watching the last 2 games getting ready for the big showdown... Cowboys and Giants! Oh, and I do like building some kind of kit... armor or Sci-Fi.  Jeff |

Yea... 72" X 16". It ain't pretty but it get's the job done. At least now I have a FREE modeling area and the other workbench area can hold the larger projects. Now to clear out the paint booth and finish assembling the functioning parts of it like plumbing the fan, wiring the fan and the light(s) too. After showering this morning and the start of the games I will settle down to the desk, pull off the cellophane from the box and look over my build. No deadlines, no pressure, no questions or explanations for me to answer... just a relaxing build with progress pictures to go along with it. Should be fun! Jeff Glad your all sorted dude! I'll need to devise some sort of shelf somewhere for my growing number of heavyweight 1/16 tanks! I've also took the liberty of informing Der Fuhrer (wife) that i may next year get involved with a 1/16 RC tank of some description lol! I fancy one of the Tamiya one's but at around £700, i may have to body swerve any talk of price . All your fault buddy, you've convinced me it's a great idea and it 100% absolutely is! Looking forward to your next build blog mate! |

Hi Stuart! I'll take full blame on this one! I started out with a Tamiya Sherman and I went downhill after that.  The Heng Long RTR tanks are a good start if you do not want to spend a lot of money all at once, but they will drain your wallet as you update them and upgrade them to run as good as a Tamiya. Even stripping them of all their electronics and go to town building one as a static kit is a very attractive alternative. I would have liked that shelf to be another 3 inches lower but then I wouldn't have been able to install the lower screw placement on the bracket in the wall and there might be some heavies put on it so I was stuck placing it at that height. Going 1/16th it's hard to go back to 1/35th but I'm doing it as the large scales don't have everything I like. But I do have a 1/16 FT-17 ordered and hopefully they will be shipping them out at the end of the month! That will be fun to RC. Jeff |

Speaking of dogs, one of my boyz has Cushings disease so after about 3 bills at the Vets in testing his medication will cost about 60 a month. Normal dogs have a value of between 1 to 5 and he's at an 8. So, most have been found as high as 20 and were saved so the Vet said it was a good thing I noticed things going on that weren't normal so he can get treated right away. Early treatment means he might not have to take it the rest of his life and most likely a smaller dose.
I can't stand the thought of loosing Tony.

Well, it has to do with the pituitary gland and we humans have one too so I guess the disease could be called the same thing, I only looked into it for dogs. I should start to see something in 7 to 10 days.
