My Wedding Anniversary is on the 9th June, and when we were first married,we had family and friends for a BBQ,and an 'EX' good friend asked when it was...I said "Thats easy,June 6th!!!! ...Didn't go down TOO well with the 'Memsahib'!!! The stars aligned perfectly for me in terms of dates...our wedding anniversary is Aug 17, her birthday is Sep 16, so very easy to remember them! The June 6th thing is understandable...a 6 is just a 9 with orientation issues!

Just 2 on an empty stomach and I am definitely feeling "refreshed" b . Why shouldn't I order that "over there"? Is it considered sacrilege to mix Guinness and Bass? And if so... To which one?

The 'Black and Tans' weren't the best liked people over there in the 1920's!!!!!

Ahhh CeeBee... found this online. If'n I ever make it over there I'll be careful What is a Black and Tan? In America it’s a popular drink poured with equal parts dark Guinness and lighter colored Harp beers. Since the two liquids have different weights they don’t blend and form an eye-catching display in the mug.
In Ireland, though, Black & Tan has a different connotation. That was the name given to the British paramilitary troops that were formed around 1920 to put down the Irish after the failed Easter Uprising. These soldiers had fought in the bloodiest trench battles of World War I and were not about to be put off by rebels wielding vintage hunting rifles and pitchforks. The Black and Tan label referred to the colors of their uniform.
Deano, I am sometime confused with a KV1... sorry old boy

Sitting here watchin' the REDZONE trying to ignore my stupid neighbor next door working in the yard and making too much noise on a Sunday (he needs a hobby for sure) enjoying some freshly roasted peanuts and making my boyz some peanut butter flavored dog cookies with their new Bake-A-Bone machine. At least, I think that was peanuts I was eating? Jeff

I worked more on the Japanese tank today during the games, since I took no pictures I won't shamelessly bump my own build thread. I put together the 5 piece idlers, installed one of them and had another "meeting of the minds" (that I won by the way) with the directions. The directions said the parts came from the D sprue(s)... but they were actually on the A sprue(s). Nice one DRAGON. Jeff

Literally sittin' here watching parts 'dry' as the detailed stuff on the inside of the frontal armor plate on this Japanese tank are small and since the drivers door will be open, the hatch linkage is very difficult to work with. I will prevail! Jeff
