Bones,I think it's just a case really,of clearing out the old,and making way for the new,eh?I don't have the free space to display those I finished ages ago,and the ones not painted,or nearly completed were really the ones I was trying to offload.(Some of these have been in the loft space 10,or 11 years, and I still have the rest of the parts, although they aren't easy to get at.

CeeBee
I can fully appreciate space being a problem, having the same myself, it appears you have been at it longer than I have so I have not had to face that condition yet. Also I only work one model at a time and don't stat another until I see the end of the one I am working on. I primarily work this way because of my memory which has come to make it such that if I try to work on two at the same time they both end up screwed up. I really like the Mickey Mouse pattern on the Quad, I wanted to do that but just could not figure out how to make the masking work.

Bones, the Mickey Mouse Camo was freehand with a 'Hairy brush',but I have seen a guy use the round sticky discs they use for price tags etc.So in that case he laid the black down, used the discs for masking, then sprayed the topcoat.

CeeBee
That was my plan for the sequence but I only had some tape that I punched out with my desk punch not thinking about the price tags or using my punch for styrene which is my old memory fading again I should have been on that. Well next time I have a Humber coming up that may have used that pattern somewhere.

I too know about the space thing. I had to build a special shelf for mine

I think I may have as many shelf queens and/or partially completed/started models as I do models in the "completed" category.
