Luigi, Andy - Thanks my brothers! Ya know Andy, there are only 6 decals that go on the turret, 3 numbers per side. On most all my references theres not even numbers on the tanks. I think im gonna put-em on anyhow to add visual interest.

Make sure the decals suck down real well Hmmm, funny you mention that. There is a situation where i need to figure out how to break suction without harming someone...........Thats all i have to say bout that!

why do you guys gloss the whole tank and not just the area the decals are going on? Hiya Spud - I gloss the entire model for pin washes and overall washes. The washes flow on the clear smoothly and without much cleanup of excess. The gloss lets the pin wash flow with capillary action into low spots, edges and around raised detail with precise control. Also acts a another barrier of protection of my base colors. Just the way i always have done it. Ill apply decals then when their dry ill only gloss over the decs. Then ill do that Flat coat. Phil - i promise ill have them decals on today, so please come back!!! Leon - Thanks a bunch my friend!

Most excellent pinnification Gary. So what made you decide to do the pinwash first? I always do my pinwash while its Glossed. Or do you mean before Decals? I decided not to use the decs. 99% of all my references do not have the Unit numbers. Not sure why, but their simply not there so neither are mine! Thanks brotha!

Was talkin about the decals Bro. So in a case where you are going to use decals, would you still do the pinwash first? Well, if i were doin a WWII Axis of allied Tank with lots of markings i would defo apply decs and seal them before pin wash. There werent any decals for the hull so it was a go with tha pin wash. There were only 3 numbers to go on the turret so they wont be missed.

Absolute stunning work as always Gary! Thought I'd peek in and see if you still had a mind after pin washing around all that detail.
