Oh sweet joy of melted, burned and charred plastic (with a scant scent of the old Testors tub glue thrown in for that thick smelling aroma). Look at all those little wheels!!!
New bench and now new update, it’s about time . . . the build is coming along nicely. The molded detail on this kit looks very good and it’s going to look even better once you apply some paint to the plastic. Keep it coming, I’m here watching.

Now we’re making some progress here. By wheels I take that you mean the rubber portion? I think they look fine just the way you've painted them, besides the washes will naturally darken them for you. Gary, any trouble shooting the lifecolor out of the airbrush? Did you need to thin the paint and what did you use for thinning if you did? Stirred not shaken? Couldn't resist adding that last phrase!

Gary, any trouble shooting the lifecolor out of the airbrush? Did you need to thin the paint and what did you use for thinning if you did? Stirred not shaken? Couldn't resist adding that last phrase! Well hello my brother Eddy! The life color is a different animal altogether. I did thin and i used their brand thinner. It takes a few coats to get good coverage but once i got the hang of it it really has a great finish to it. Im gonna use it for my Base coat. The mid camo color - brown/green is a custom mix of Tamiya XF-65 Field Grey, XF-78 Wooden Deck Tan and a few drops of XF-10 Flat Brown. I like the look of it so i mixed a batch....should be plenty to do the T-90. Yeah, Stirred, not shaken....thats 007-1/2's signature phrase. Keeps the bubbles out! Thanks for droppin by my old friend. Cheers, Gary

I have a small amount of these paints put away so any tips are much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing both the turret and chassis painted using the LC base color you've chosen. So let's get some air pressure happening!

Hello Gentlemen, Im sorry for the late response fellas. Been busy moving my niece Mandy to Dallas to go to the Dallas Art Institute. Been helping get her moved from Gatesville Tx (about 4 round trip) to her apartment in here in Dallas, she lives 5 min. from me and sis now. Im so tired, but im gonna some bench time this week or as much as possible. Ive gotten so far behind on my T-90 build and i need a KICK to get back in gear. I hope to have a substantial update soon. Cheers my friends, Gary

Hi Gary, sorry, can't help you with the mojo. Feeling the same actually...
When spraying LC I found it a good strategy to put a similar Tamiya color for base, so I get besser coverage with less coats. LC seem to behave very different depending on the tone. Some cover good, others not.
Cheers, Tobi

LC is much different AB application than Tamiya so it makes perfect sense to me to do what ya said. Thanks, Gary
