Nice Work Tony Funny how we build almost the same did my hatches yesterday But I am not fitting them or any externals until I got the internals done. As I want to get a good bond between top and bottom hull parts which might need a lot of tape. I built the main engine block and now starting wiring. Keep going mate doing a grand job.

I don't want to talk about track links they are horrid to build and need a load of work. That said when done they are very good and I have put 2 links together so far.

I have made a start on the K60 pack. The main pack consists of 18 resin and 10 white metal parts which I primed with Halfords grey plastic primer once they were cleaned up. DSC_3723 by TonyThunder, on Flickr After drilling the various holes for cabling I then decided to paint prior to assembly and the main pack parts were painted with my take on Duck Egg green/blue and the frame was painted aluminium. DSC_3726 by TonyThunder, on Flickr I then started putting it all together and this is where I am currently at. Nice start on the pack mate. That colour looks just about spot on from here.Good luck with the cabling and piping EDIT....Tony the cooling fans should be aluminium if I remember correctly.

Point taken with regard to the fans and they have no been painted Aluminium. Still some to do and think the wiring may be a tad under scale but looking at pics there does not appear to be a standard as far as cabling colours go. Still waiting for a part to complete cabling and then weathering can begin. I haven't thought about that yet but as good a way of showing it off as any I suppose. If I put it in the vehicle the only bit that would show would be the very top so O/S is definitely the way to go for me.
