Firstly, happy birthday buddy. Hope you've had a good one Many of the guys I know who work with resin use superglue for the joints... Buy a good one, you can get one that give you around 20 seconds working time, it allows you to position the parts correctly before it sets like steel As for sanding down, use wet and dry abrasive paper, wet. The dust from polyurethane resin is linked to some quite nasty lung problems and the water stops it from getting into the air in the first place

Nice gift Craig!! Happy Birth Day to you!!! CA and/or PVA glues work excellent, standard grades of sand paper and you may want to wear a dust mask or somewhere where there is good air flow when you sanding....resin can be particularly nasty stuff in the lungs!! I have seen this kit up close before....really sweet!!! There should be very little clean up in the sanding way from what I remember. This one is screaming for weathering!!! Count me in when you start!!

Good Day Folks! Just received this kit, it's the Trumpeter Soviet Aerosan RF-8/GAZ-98. Me lady picked this up for me, I mentioned to her the other day, that I wanted to do some sort of "Winter-Diorama" I think this is going to be a unique build. -Steven

Cool one Steven!!! Looking forward to having you have at it!!! A few of the spoils from the show.... My raffle win.... One of 3 full resin kit I grabbed. This was by way of Pete, the other two came from a vender for a steel...both for $30!! One is a Cromwell Models kit and the other Accurate Armor. One of the two steels.....$20USD: The other....$40USD....... Yes, both had everything included for that price!! Member table!!! So I guess there will be something more modern on the horizon!!! Now where did put that link to Wout's Merkava build?? .... ;D

Spud hasn't been ordering for a while? That explain why US Post Office has defaulted to pay $5.5 billion... Spud- Great sets of Alpine sets!!! Okaz- Great stuff... I have plenty of space here if you need a place for storage. Like that Panther kit.
