I thought I had a thread here somewhere showing this model, but can't seem to find it. The model was built by Steve Reid of Celticwerks and I had the fun in painting and weathering the E-75. Steve also started a base and then I took over. The model is for Armorcon 2013, but was actually planned for last years show but seeing that I couldn't make that show, and forgot about this model, I never finished it. Soooo I am working on it now and hope to have it done for the show so Steve can enter it in the "Missing E" award category. OK I had started painting the base some time ago but stopped. Tonight I lined the outside with .30 styrene and will be adding a boiler tank I made some time last year. Some misc beams and pipes will also be added. A few pics of where she stands. Next will be some primer and then painting.

Hey Rob!
I have been keeping an eye on this from work - during breaks of course.
The base is looking great and your girders and Boiler are nice additions. Of cource it will be your mud and rust effects that will bring this to life!
Looking forward to seeing it done!
Steve

Its all the liitle touches that will make this stand out , the vehilce on its own is superb but add it to the base and you have a double whammy. Excellent work Rob!

Always love the little details. Those pipes and fittings look great and the sign is a nice touch as well Rob. Look's like you're having fun with this one, always the most important part.
