I thought I'd post up and let you guys know just how good Airfix's customer service really is now they're owned by Hornby.
I'm planning to build my 1/24 Harrier GR3. I bought it some years ago when Airfix were Humbrol owned. The decals were way out of register and I asked them to send me a new set, they did... The new ones were worse so I put the kit away and tried to forget about it.
Recently I've been tempted to look at it again and then remembered the decals
I emailed Hornby Airfx this week asking to buy another set, it didn't seem fair to ask Hornby to replace something someone else cocked up
Today, a free of charge decal sheet arrived
It's printed by Cartograph and its beautiful, at least as good as most AM sheets out there.
So a big thank you to Airfix
