thanks fellas, lookin' forward to it as well! Just have to figure out how I can close the cowling with the engine in place. Eduard built the kit in a way you can't close the cowling with the engine in place...quite odd Cheers

Allright fellas, just got back in from France last night about midnight (the longest day ever!) and I’ve been missing you lot, so I thought I better share my modest acquisitions from the trip. I had about an hour one day in Paris to sneak away to Azimut Productions (113 Rue de Turenne, Paris) to look for this. I’ve been wanting this conversion kit since last fall when I read about it in MM,(I think). So I find the shop (with quite a lot of help from the locals), finally, and start browsing around. The place is a great little model shop. Dragon and Trumpy kits all over the place, figures, an AK rack: great stuff. They also have a large display of their custom resin work, and this is why I was here. But, they didn’t have what I was looking for (the VPS) on the shelf so I had the opportunity to shoot the breeze with Eric, the guy working the shop while Didier was boxing a VPS up for me in the back. Come to find out that Eric is the main designer for Azimut Productions , and let me say that he does some beautiful work! They have a bunch of scratch built conversions that he built on display in glass cases. As far as their resin work goes, The moldings are crisp and clean, with very little flash and very few if any blemishes of any kind. Also, after inspecting the kit, I was unable to find any air bubble damage at all. This kit looks a lot better than my Rovers from AA. I can’t wait to build this one, and I also can’t wait to try out the other unique vehicle conversions that they offer. They have 4-5 conversions of the Revell Mercedes Wolf alone! I highly recommend this kit and also encourage you to check out their website www.azimutproductions.com . I also picked up a bottle of AK stuff. Can’t wait to try it. Cheers!

Dicky: Nice pick ups there, sir. I especially dig the reading material. Looking forward to your obscure variations of some of those vehicles;). How's that room coming along and when are we gonna see some white magic?
Wouter: Nice buys, mate. I just might take you up on that next time I'm in Europe:). You can buy me one of those lovely belgian beers:).

Spud- I have a HUGE basement if you need more space for your growing stash... ;D Guys- Back from a week long vacation. One of few things I like to do while traveling, visit local hobby shops. I finally visited one in Niagara Falls (USA side) that a forum friend told me I have to. Had to get this kit... it was fitting after spending a week at my parents lake house in Canada. View from the porch you can see my two boys swimming. A perfect excuse to use all of AK interactive streaking washes... Had to get this too... from a local Canada tourist shop. We had an exchange deaf student from Denmark stay with us for a year few years ago. He is visiting us for a month now and he brought me a very nice gift. A Danish WWII helmet... I always loved how it looked... it will definitely help me guard my stash!!! Wondering if there are Danish WWII soldier sets out there???
