Boo, those boxes look great, must get one or two, although if seen carrying them in public, someone might think you are a make-up artist ! Well, been keeping my head down the past while, was away on holidays and back to work with a bang, so no modelling done the past 4 weeks until last night. Some long awaited purchases, Which will no doubt be right up DickyF’s street. I got the chopper from Aantenocitis Workshop, this is a real gem and great for chopping random items from around the house, just for fun! Also got a hex-punch and die set, 1” Engineering Square, JLC Razor saw and a few packs of ‘Little-Lenses’ (1mm, 1,5mm, 2mm, 2,5mm, 3mm & 3.5mm in clear and light green from Little-Cars. The other punch set, I have had since I was 16, a Verlinden set that has periodically gone missing over the years. On this occassion it was found on Sunday hiding in the belly of a 1/35 Schnellboot, two days after ordering a new set !, typical. But Paul of Little Cars was very accommodating, and swapped it to the hex punch set instead. The lenses are class, and at £2.50 for a pack of 8 a real bargain. I put some in the front end of a Remote Weapon Station. Mail order from both companies, and received within 24hrs. Great job. Chis,

Wow Chris, better get your polishing cloth out !.
Pardon my ignorance, how do you exactly win something like this on Facebook?
There really could be a 'super smug' smiley for occasions like this!
Chris.

Great tools, Chris. Can you chop styrene sheet with that chopper? I suppose the blade is a bit short. Looks a great piece of kit, though:)
Nice luck on that Mustang, CS!

Just a small purchase to add to my growing Live Resin collection. As usual, great quality and only took 4 days to be delivered direct from their shop in Russia. Chris.

Went to Hobby Town USA today just to get rattle cans of MM Lusterless Flat Clear... promised myself not to buy a kit for a while. Here's why... Seven years old Sony TV just died on us last Monday... in friggin' middle of the Olympics. Sony officially sucks... get either LG or Samsung. Mine even comes with 3D option and boys are loving it. Heck, I broke my promise already... at least it is only a figures set. I wasn't going to post this because I thought it was no big deal then I realized there was something wrong with the picture when I first opened the box... The packaging box is ridiculously oversized! Dumb @ss award goes to Mini Art. Serious hoarders like us are STRUGGLING to find space to store kits. ;D Then something answered my prayers at the shop... they are now stocking Vallejo paints. It truly made my day... only $3.25 each. Made me wonder if other Hobby Town USA are stocking Vallejo paints too?

Wouter, The German tank crew is tha shiznit!!! Andy, How is that allied tank crew. you satified in the detail as im interested in that fig. set for a future Sherman and dio. Vallejo model color, SWEET. My local hobby shop only carries the vallejo Game Colors. But there good for Blacks , whites and common colors in a pinch. Gary

Guys- Thanks!!! Gonna create a master list of Vallejo paints... I am in process of phasing out enamel paint. Gary- I think they look good with nice details but not too sure about the fig heads. I am already thinking about replacing them with better resin heads. I'd be more than happy to take closer pics if you're interested. There are not enough American tank crew sets out there... Wouter- Thanks for the info! Its' on my wish list... ;D Boo- Agree with you about Panasonic too. My repairman said avoid Sony for now because they were so good with old fashioned tube TVs then they were caught with pants down when other companies came out with flat TVs. Now Sony has been buying parts from LG or Samsung I was told. Why bother buy a Sony TV product for higher cost ... just for name?
