Nice Haul fellas!!! jackwagon, that Buzzin' Hornets Jordan is awesome mate, I always was a fan of the Jordan GP team, those hornets on the nose made the cars look very cool (especially in '99 when my favourite Damon Hill featured in it and won Jordans first ever GP - craziest race ever 'Mega Crash' Franchorchamps )...there was just one Jordan car which was even cooler: the one with Bitten 'n Hisses/ season 97 with Fisichella and Schumacher... oh, nostalgia ;D ;D ;D Cheers

jackwagon, you can never have enough good brushes mate, The four wheeler looks cool too.
CS, love the looks of the Devastator, always wanted to build one. Look forward to seeing you build that here.
CB, B-36 is a huge wingie for sure. That the old Mono Kit ? The M32 is suppose to be a great kit. How's about a quick review when you get a chance mate.

Dicky, for £13 you'd get no more than two Series 7, they're a bargain. As soon as you'll test them, let me know how they are, because, as the boss said, you can never have enough good brushes... CB, omg, the M32... That's definitely on my wishlist.... CS, nice kit the TBD, looking forward to seeing it built by you

A small package has arrived today... a hint of my "next" build. I wouldn't have posted this without sharing a farewell surprise gift from my good buddy who is moving to Wyoming... an authentic US kevlar helmet he wore during his service in the Army for 14 years back in the 80's. Please don't tell me he was supposed to return it. Now I am ready to fight... Now I am seeking for your "professional" opinion... humor or not! My dad bought my "pancake" air compressor because he needed one and I never really liked it as it does not run very well at low PSI. Now I am shopping around for the right one... a local artist shop has few in stock and I am undecided between those two... I am leaning toward Stormforce because of its dual piston so it will last longer.

Deafpanzer, wouldn't it be bettero to buy a compressor with a tank rather than one without?

That's a good question there... I did some research and it seems tanks are good for high pressure heavy volume airbrushing. I only use mine for modeling... I rarely go higher than 30 PSI or so. Maybe only when I am spraying primer.
Is it worth spending another $150 to have a tank? That's what I am trying to figure out... right now I am leaning back to Iwata Smart Jet Lite because of its excellent reviews. Its $335 at the art shop... I am prepared to make a good investment because I will be in for a long haul.

mmmm, are you going to blog the 6600 kit Andy? Nice one mate, have build that one twice now (well, actually, one is still on the go ;D) and really love that one. Lookin' forward to that
Didn't know that Sparmax comps are the same as Iwata ones. I got a Revell one and that's Sparmax as well.
btw: read some where here that someone adds new oil every year in his compressor. Is that a necessety, the manual doesn't mention that and I don't know where to begin frankly ;D
Cheers

Boo- Thanks for the great info about Iwata and Sparmax! I will look into this too. I have a budget of $300-$350 to buy one so I am sure there will be good choices within the price range. Thanks again!
Wouter- LOL! Yes that's my next built! Because of you and Ben Hinksy I had to buy it... ;D Will start as soon as I am done with my current build Pz III K. Hope it comes as good as yours!

Thanks Dicky, great photos, saved for reference I've never considered this kit before but it looks to have a nice interior and good detail, I'm pleased Angie picked it up, I'd have walked past it without a second glance
