Very nice initial round Leon! My secret to avoiding modeler's thumb (the death of a thousand cuts) is to use one of those rubber finger grips that people who work with paper forms all the time use. Slit the base so it will fit (since I'm not using it on a finger!) and then slip it on over my thumb while trimming/cleaning up parts and it does the trick nicely. They are very durable and are dirt cheap, pick up a box of them at Office Depot or similar and it will change your life.

hi Leon, I started one of these about 12 monmths ago - but it all went horribly pear-shapped and it got deep-sixed! A replacement (from evil-bay) arrived on Friday -so this is an incentive to get on with it. how did you find the hull top? Personally I found it VERY flexible and considered using some stiffeners. But outside of that a very simple and straight-forward build- as you have seen, just sorry I never managed to finish it the first-time around. P

Wow!!! Can't believe I missed this one Leon - CeeBee will tell yer this has long been on my wishlist but although the kit is available online I never seem to see it at the shows.....it's a 'lovely' lookin' MBT and yes it shows design styling from the CR's and the Leo2's (much like the Ariete) Yer've made a great start Leon - nice job...I'm in now! Can I safely assume you were gonna do one of yer cutaways on this beggar?

Excellent job there Leon. Have you decided on a colour-scheme for this yet? There are a few very interesting pics of Brazillian army cam-schemmes on Google if you don't fancy the box-top sand brown.
Looking forward either way to see the paint go on this. P
