Many thanks guys, but I had to keep going with oil paints my favit funnerist part. Using light and dark rust, and black I added shadows and streaks, plus adding the darkest rust to some exposed edges. This is a really nice effect, pretty realistic and also sharpening the outlines. The shiny bits not so shiny now. Almost finished, thanks again for following. Cheers! JT

Breathtaking magnificence. Are you going to set it into a diorama or will it stay this way?

Thanks guys! Dicky other modelers really inspire me, it would be something to return the favour.
Luigi, sorry I'm late answering your question. I'm not really planning a diorama but I could always come back to it. Cheers mate!

Amazing detail! Great job on the weathering, very inspirational as I am currently building this kit. If mine comes out half as good as your build, I will be happy. I am also doing it rusted and weathered.

This is wacko ! The real deal ! Ultra realistic, only top skills can deliver such results, what else can I say ?
How will you present it John ? A nice sec base or with a bit of nature around it ? Please show us the final result too, I mean on its base.

Firstly, thanks guys with your great responses! Hi G, I'm not really planning a base but if I do I will post it here. Now when I said it was finished I was a little premature. Added hungry boards and tail gate chains: Okay now I'm finished. I think.... Cheers JT
