MSC at ARMORCON 2013

Hey Fellas!!!!

We had an absolute blast at the show!! I was fantastic meeting up with many MSCer's, old friends and making many new ones!! Like the Boss mentioned, long ride...I rolled in just after midnight Yankee East Coast Time!! A bit of a slow start today as real life backs up when we're gone for a few days!

There will be some more pics to follow....Thom was there with not only his wife and his some JJ, he brought his camera! Same goes for Pete...I can only imagine what he has!! Damn Sniper!!

Doc!!! Thank you brotha' for the updates along the way!! You're the best!!

There were a number of MSC Gongs and our youngest being 9 and 16!! Out-friggin-standing if you ask me!!!

I really...no wait, "REALLY" need to cut the lawn here!! LOL!! I will upload some pics as well at some point but the life traffic-jam will have to be dealt with first!!

Got some pictures off my phone just a while ago!! Good thing there were plenty of shots from many others...still waiting to see some from Pete and Thom as a combination of the shaky hand, to much talking or forgetting to pull the camera out I had some fuzzy shots. Here are the best I came up with!!!



Friday Night! Oh yeah....Friday night!! Always a good time as the somewhat annual gathering at Rosie's!! 14 were in attendance!! The food was excellent...the company even better!! Even a bit of excitement!! A story for another day!!

Now there is always a model that sticks in your head from a show....there were many notable entrants.....this 222 is Phil's son's entry...this is the future of the hobby!! This pulled a Gold Gong and I will officially claim this as an MSC Gong addition even though he is not an active member....HE IS 9!!!!!! I love it!!

Hey Todd great pics, It was great seeing all you guys yesterday, I can't wait until march, Anthony had a great time at the show. And is already working on his new model that he got yesterday. It defiantely puts a smile on my face seeing him working at his models. I kust hope he keeps up with it.

Phil, It's a pleasure to see young ones getting into the hobby! Anthony, Tyler...his friend...even watching Thom's JJ crank out a Revell A-10...just great seeing their work! Hope he sticks with it too my friend!!!

Nine years old, wow. That's really awesome...not much else to say hahaha. I wasn't even building models at 9! I wonder how that AK stuff tastes...lol

Glad to hear everyone had a good time at the show. I had kind of penciled it in, but as the day drew nearer, the thought of a $400+ expenditure for the weekend (not to mention a 14 hour drive) killed the idea. Oh well... maybe next year.

From the various pictures I've seen it looks like there was quite an impressive array of models in attendance. Congratulations to all who won something.

CB....working on that!! Seems that we had a couple attempts at the pic and there was one shaky hand and one malfunctioned shutter....will track down what I can!! I should have the name too!! LOL!! Was a bit crazy in the end there. Off to find what I can!!
