Started doing this one to haul on the LCM to Normandy, but it's Diesel amung other things. It belongs in the Pacific, so want to build it as the Iwo Jima version 1945 Olive Drab and Desert Yellow.
The Academy kit has very detailed parts along with parts casting numbers and 3 sets of early, mid and late wheels.

The wheels are all shot in flat black primer. Now have to mask and shoot the inner wheels desert yellow or AK Yellow Primer.

Here it is with a little primer and black on the wheels.
This will be the pattern for the olive drab and desert yellow.

Thanks guys! Don't know if I should paint some different shades on the wheels or just put the bogies together as is. The weathering will probably cover most of them up.

Nothing like a good Sherman build to whet the appetite to get back to an armor build. I've got this one marked to follow Bruce. Work your magic.

Thanks guys. Carl, the shades in green are just light coats of AK Yellow Primer, so far. Have a few more updates for the hull, then can put on another coat of primer.

If you can latch on to one of these Academy kits, I'd highly recomend it. The directions leave a little to be desired, because there are many extras in the kit, which don't even show what or where they go. As I found out, 2 of their decals are inaccurate for the M4A2 at Iwo Jima, etc.
