Ok guys heres some pics from the reworked Diorama Surrender. .  DSC08804 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. I re weathered the vehicle few more chips and a whole load of ground work. .  DSC08800 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. I got some smooth weather streaks in to. .  DSC08806 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. Ground work like the gate and barrow got a complete make over and grass added between the gate leaves were added to the trees and had about 4 shades to each leaf. .  DSC08807 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. Some of the paint damage . Well hope that's ok for you guys if you want more photos I will start a thread ? Rgs Mac |

Lovely detail shots Mac. Well deserving of a gold IMO.
If memory serves- didn't a swteam punk/.sci-fi build win BoS last year as well- or am I imagninig that?

Great to catch up with all you guys again. Had two good days hunting ! Managed to track down some Atak zim for Dragon's late Tiger...which I didn't expect to and purchased some Sovereign figures. I wouldn't have give them a second glance if Mac hadn't mentioned earlier on how nice they were. Fortunately the stand had some assembled/primed figures on display and they really do deserve some better box art ( there I've gone and said it ! ) The best of show winner is absolutely incredible in the flesh. I think one of Andy A's pics (3rd one) looks like you could climb in it ! Congratulations to all the show winners and to all that entered Biggest surprise of the weekend was the soon to be released Airfix Typhoon. It really is incredibly detailed and even though I'm not a wingy thingy modeller I am tempted    And not forgetting a hungry Wallace   |

Loz i agree with yu on those figures mate,they are great but the box art is not.i would not have bought them on the strength of the box art but when you see them in primer they look awsome.
