Moving over to the turret again. Had a great build session over at Per Olav Lund's place , were I got some more work done.both on the kv and my 1/35 panther :-)

Adding dust and dirt, slowly building up layers

Adding dust and small debris along the fenders, one part at the time. Loosly adding it, placing it with a smal brush, then semi fix it and 'wash' it out with some white spirit, then when dry , add a dropp of pigment fixer.

That's some nice progress Sollie, definitely adding some life to the finish on this monster.

we add some AK/MIG and a shot up oil drum into the mix

Nearing the end, but still I wanted to add a few bit's more. The big fenders has so much space, I must resist adding to much stuff , ore I 'll never be able to wrap this build. Now do tell if I've overseen anything you think should be done, added ;-) thanks

Steel wire. 'Home' made burning fluid. and some AK track pigment.

To break things up a little I desided to do one of the toolboxes in a worn Winter state. Normal procedure were done , hairspray, tamiya white thinned, and warm water.
after, light washes and mud splashes were added to both .

Been adding 'this and that' over the past month, so for the most part I call this a 'wrap' Still need to tinker With the inside to get it up and running 100% , But here are some finall outdoor photos.
Not 100% on the tracks though ( color) . It's going to be a backyard runner so I might just let it be natural weathered over time.

I did promise a little video of this thing once I was done With the wiring. Well time flies, but a few weeks ago I did sit down and made a New soundset for this KV.
One part of this hobby for me is the build Paint and weathering, but also I like to make my own soundset's for my tanks. The soundcard I use allowse me to do just that. It's a hobby within the hobby.

Sorry that the top is of, it is better for recording, but you get the idea.
