1/72 German Kfz. 305 Radio car (10/25 decals on)

Dicky soz mate ,no radios in this one,the old eyes and fat fingers are having a hard enough time with the small parts.

Jeff so far so good except for the rear fender .I think i have fix for them with some thin plastic card.

Evening guys,not much progress tonight .After two failed attempts at making new rear fenders i just decided to add the stowage,ladder and antenna.I have another idea for the fenders i want to try.Hopefully this will work.Still have some TINY PE parts to put on,this is going to be a real humdinger.

Bob,look at the last pic on the bottom of the first page and you will see how it's supposed to fit under the box but it's to big.

Deano,no camo this time .Probably Panzer gray or Africa brown.Need to check out a few more references before i decide.

Evening guys,i finally got the rear fenders made and they turned out pretty good.I used a piece of aluminum foil and folded it a few times to get the thickness i wanted,then cut to length and glued in place.Also added the PE mirror,side louvers,front fender markers,grill name plate and rear lights.I am really chuffed as this is the first time i used PE let alone in 1/72 scale.Hope you like the pics.

Congrats on breaking through the PE frontier in braille Leon, that's no mean feat all by itself. A little putty filler on that one fender and it will look just fine.

This is a killer little kit, i like the looks of it. Always had a fancy to build this type in 1/35th and just never got a kit.....someday ill do it!

I'm a bit late getting back here. I see you've come up with a fender fix already. I was going to suggest possibly cutting a section out of the the fender pieces to allow them to butt up against the box and yet continue to hang under as designed. Forgive the crude drawing but here's what I'm trying to say:



If it can be done you'll be able to retain the nice rolled edge of the kit pieces.

Afternoon guys,the radio truck got a coat of dark yellow and i changed my mind about doing camo on this.Going to do a olive green squiggly line camo pattern.Looks good in the ref pics i looked at.Will post pics of the paint job after dinner.Til then cheers.

Evening guys,the radio truck has it's base coat of dark yellow and next up is the camo pattern and painting the stowage.Off to the bench to do the camo.BTW i painted this with the hairy stick as i do all my braille this way .Hope you like it so far.
