It's occurred to me that some time has passed since I was active here altho it sure don't seem so to me. Therefore, for anyone who's interested, the new hobby room is coming along Nekkid framing All the junk in the ceiling what has delayed this project so long is finally done here Sheetrock with tape and 1st coat of mud. Should not be but another 3-4 weeks and I'll be rollin again. Regards, Mark

I notice the strategic placement of power sockets and light fixtures, something tells me that corner of the room is going to be 'special'! Nice update Mark, looking forward to your return!

Looking great! Thought about you while my family were in Wyoming for our summer vacation. Beautiful state!
Are you sure you have enough insulation to keep yourself warm? LOL Looking forward to your return!

Hey guys
Nemo-Yeah it'll be kinda Cadillac; I should even have a spray booth with an evacuator fan so's I'll no longer be sniffing paint fumes
Bill-That's where all my previous projects are going to be on shelves...or where I'll sit with one of those funny pointed hats
Andy-Well, ya shoulda stopped by
Carl-Yessir I'm still exchanging gases...woulda been done by now had it not been for the geothermal heating/cooling, plumbers, electricians, and some other stuff beyond my ability to complete
Leon-A good large scratchbuild occasional makes me appreciate the small ones even more
Gary-It should serve, especially compared to what it was before. Once done, however, I've about four modeling projects to complete before I begin a new one...they mock me every time I walk by their current location
Great to hear from you all, it's been too long
Regards, Mark

I wish!!! My wife would have killed me if I drove few more miles... we drove for 4,985 miles in 15 days. I have been to Montana back in 2007 and I hope to visit again.

Pete and Dan B-Sorry I missed ya thanks
Bill-Yessir I'm working on that; harder to organize than build I'm finding
Andy-Nice to hear I chose wisely with paint booths and don't worry some racks are in the works
Leon-I'm thinking of scattering some rocks and skulls around for a more authentic look
Nemo-Thanks, I've been wanting to do something like this for years now
Tojo-Thanks also, I'm pumped...can't wait to be done with it
Boots-Good to be back, thanks for the positive comments
This weekend will be the last big push which should see it finished. Still have the rest of the basement to do but at least I'll be able to sneak away occasional and fool with plastic
Regards, Mark
