Hehehe... Its "tomorrow" now here in Germany, so I can give you another update, if you dont mind?! Gents, Im just waiting for some daylight and then youll get pictures of the following: >Jumo 004 engine is INSTALLED (was it supposed to power an Aerosan indeed? The fit was just too perfect to believe it!) >some goodies from a 1/32 scale P-38 were installed too (modified air intake and engine mount) >brass cables, loads of plastic sheet etc. for detailing the engine compartment >modified PE IP installed... Enough info? Pictures later... Please stay tuned! Regards and good nite! Lucas.

Eduard PE parts - originally Zero parts: Plastic sheet to adapt the engine: modified P-38 air intake plus plastic sheet: intallation of the engine: ...and complete (so far): Oh and I removed the side bars, they always wanted to break. Imho they arent neded anyways, because they were originally thought for a prop engine, what isnt the case here anymore

Well... Somehow I was in a workaholic mood today. The look of the Aerosan/OJOS has now completely changed. Do you remember the Vanship build? modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/4720/completed-hasegawas-vanship-hangar-sceneIf yes, then the Color of the "OJOS" should look a bit familiar to you, ist exactly the same. That has three reasons: [1] the Color itself is original car solor and Comes in a 700ml rattle can, therefore ist a bit expensive. [2] The blue colors of the clothes of the figures are no coincidence - theres a "blue pattern" for the vignette so to say. [3] It just Looks COOL! This is an effect color btw and changes ist effects from a stron metallic blue to green and even a bit of violet. Depends on the angle of view and angle of light. Unfortunately, photos cant reproduce the whole effect (but you can see what I mean when you take a closer look at the side/rear shot). Here we go! This is the side/rear shot I meant - sweeeeeeet color that! Some engine details. Lettering as usual (0.05mm ink pen), plus some copper details etc. Base color was Testors Gun Metal, plus GW Nuln Oil washing (black) and Testors Aluminium powder. Just let a bottle open for a week and wipe it with a sponge. Works perfect! Pure Nuln Oil for... yes, oil of course. With a Dremel the crashed front was recreated. Thomas, if you read this - THANK YOU for the idea with the front spoiler (how many kN has a Jumo 004 again?! ). Almost forgot about this. The spoiler was created by an Revell Contacta metal tube as axle and two symmetric parts: P-38 bomb hinge halves to be more correct (green arrow). Fit in scale, fit in its shape, perfect! Some cables were added too to give the front part a bit more detail (red arrow). Thanks for dropping in here. Regards Lucas.

Thanks Heres a bit more! Where do I begin?! With some gimmicks for the interior (all 1/35 scale). The Rucksack/backpack comes from MiniArts "Afrika Korps" set - that one with the donkey: Project: OJOS takes part in a X-Mas GB in a German SciFi forum (sfmforum.de), and of course theres a gift inside. This was made from plastic profiles, painted 0.2mm lead wire and a flower that I "borrowed" from laser cut plants ("Noch"). Changed the layout a bit - Mr. Snowman moved into the foreground, and a young curious guy took his place. This gorgeous figure comes from ICM ("Russian Partisans" set): www.panzerfux.de/panzerfux_e/prodpic/1-35-WWII-Soviet-Partisan-by-ICM-35631-ICM-35631_b_0.JPGHopefully thats the last layout change The cockpit with all ist goodies: I had to cut the Stuka control stick a bit and painted it with MrHobby Gold/Red Brown. Suggestions or some ideas? Just tell me. Regards Lucas.
