Dicky, thank you mucka .I'm going to leave the upper hull loose because of the magazine. It sits to low to allow me to leave the hatches open all the way to view the interior.Hate to hide that nice interior.

Evening fellas, had planed on posting pics of the primered parts but that went down the tube as i lost 1 of the return rollers and have been on the floor looking for the past 2 hours .I did manage to make more progress as i got the turret assembled and it's ready for primed. Will post pics in the morning.

Good one Bruce ,think the tubes are a little small to swallow a return roller.

You can see why jackwagon has a bit of a soft spot for 'em. I've got the 120mm Anti-tank version of this chassis so I'm getting a real sense of how the build will go -once I get it started. When I got back into modelling I bought a few of their T-55/Type 59 kits as skill builders and I was well impressed with how they went together -even if there were some issues with accuracy. P

Dicky,i could be your twin from across the pond .Glad you like the base color. The only reason i asked about Soviet armor color was the instructions call for Russian green base color. Jeff we have green paint now.Glad you like it.

Good choice on the NATO Green Leon! Remember, there is now wrong Russian Green...
I have a colleague who was drafted to the Romanian Army during Cold War. One day they had to repaint the motorpool. So the whole company went to work for a day at the local color company, for "payment" they received some cans of green paint. That was real existing Socialism!
Weathering can alter the color also pretty much in the aftermath, and with some filters you can give it any tint you want to.
Cheers, Tobi
