Nice update Leon! This thing's so weird looking it's like something a kid might put together with Legos.

Leon, I feel your pain! I had something similar happen to me with my Leo2A6 build -I wanted to cry but it did strike me as being something akin to a dusting coat. So, with judicious use of some pigments and another light pass with some buff paint on the lower hull - it seemed to pull it back. It might be worth a try..

Paul, appreciate your comment and tip on dusting .Only one problem,Dicky and Boots suggested i keep it clean so i removed the weathering that i started.I think it looks better clean.

Is this the first time you have used THAT can? What was the temperature this morning when you sprayed it?

Jeff,it's an old can and the temp was 58.Come to think of it,i started to use it on the Osorio build and it didn't look right so i bought a new can and used it.Evidently i picked up the wrong can this time.Should have tossed it and not put it back on the shelf.

AH-HA, maybe we have found the problem. Try both cans on some scrap and see what happens.

Leon,Like the other guys have said,if yo can leave it somewhere warm for a day or two,it may well clear. It sounds like you have moisture in the paint.(Which I've seen on 1/1 repairs before)The SMART repair guys usually just blow a hotgun over the lacquer, and the 'bloom' disappears.....Usually

Have you laid down a coat of gloss/clear before the matt coat........i had a similar thing when i built the Porsche race car a while back...........could be the Matt coat doesn`t like going over a clear coat, mine went white as well..........i was using Humbrol Matt over the top of Johnsons Klear/Future etc.............never had it before until i used that combination fella, not saying that it is the cause but it`s a possibility matey!!

Boots,i did put a gloss coat on before putting the decs on.I had removed some weathering with white spirits and now wondering if any residue from the white spirits affected the dull coat.

Like Dicky, I thought it was OK... just dusty!!! I didn't see anything wrong. Like he said give it a day or two... enjoy the reference pictures found in Gary and Jeff's thread.
Catching up here... you are making good process. Hope it will come out OK
