Hi Guys Here's the first ship that I'm building, 1/350 DML Burke Class ship. I'll be doing the Flag Carrier, there are some minor fits issues especially the lower hull you need some support structures to make it straight. I can also recommend go for the Trumpeter Ships nothing much I could say especially the new tooling. I bought the DML just in case I get flunk out... Since Trumpy cost a little higher, if successful I'll get one I'm almost done with the 2 super structures still needed some details (paint dept) Hand painted the Bridge glass, some gaps needs to be filled with Tamiya putty and top it with liquid putty. the hull have been pre-shaded. Thanks for looking

Still on the ship yard... Build update. The Hull was painted with Tamiya Red hull and Neutral Grey thin with Gunze Thinner. as you see here in the pic, its a bit matte or flat color rather than the shiny when you thin it with alcohol and Tamiya Retarder, you can also see the difference on the super structure... its a bit dull right? salt damage weathered ship Until next time Thanks for looking!!!

Looking great ER!!! Right on track with the fading!!! Ships start weathering the second they are put to sea!!! Not to mention this has some nice panel line that would be great for modulation~!

After yesterday's progress... didn't spend my rest day riding my bike The hull been painted, now one of the problem is the flight deck... need to paint it by hand... I'll try to stencil and use the decal as a guide to make the deck more uniform in color. Since DML had left out the decal for the Helicopter flight deck Thanks for looking!!! Thanks Nemo, probably due to the salt damage or lack of iodine lol

Thanks for looking, Mac the ship is already been sitting in the shelf for months... before I restarted building it... just a few bits and pieces and eventually you will see it finish, like the guys said... Take your time.

Ship update: almost finish just a bit of details and weathering and she's almost ready to set sail, oh her maiden voyage, the railings will be last before going to weathering. still undecided if I will do the rigging or not, to prevent more disaster Thanks for looking!!! Opinions and comments are welcome, especially for reference Dragon instruction is lacking of decal placement, some pieces dunno where to place... even the rigging.

Think you are moving right along on this one ER...everything seems to be in order. If you get stumped ever on the "Mis-directions", pop a picture of the directions sheet and the part up. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes helps!! She is a nice looking vessel there!!! I would give the rigging a shot!! Take you time, work inside to out and you will be fine!

Thanks a lot, T!!! I'll have to check for reference for the Rigging for this beast, especially where it is located in the bottom of the mast. still need to rust her up for some salt damage.

Thanks Nemo, I'll try to check the mast first and may add a tiny bit of sprue to attached the rigging, I just to surf the net for the decals placement and other kit parts and also the detailing paint of the superstructure.
