It's time for another " Post Apocalyptic Group build. The donor kits for this will be Lindbergs' Dodge L-700 with Trailer and AMT Model Kings " Open Road Camper". It will hopefully turn out along these lines.

Okay, you're counted. Spent the better part of the day sorting, cleaning off flash and mold lines. The front badge emblem came loose and the cab air intake screen must have rusted out. The wheels and tires look a bit worn, so may have to replace them.
Just got these in the mail yesterday from amainhobbies.com. A pair of Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires. They fit perfect for 1:25 Big Truck tires. May have to get some more. They have others, with even more aggressive treads.

Whooop............one of me favourite categories has sparked into life , ya can`t beat a good apocalyptic build , count me in Bruce and a great start so far...........like the de-badging and the tyres look ferkin` awesome, will have to remember that addy
Having way too much fun here! You may have noticed, that I screwed up on the front DODGE badge hole alignment. Re-drilled the hole and plastic welded a piece of styrene in the hole. Will cut and shave it after drying. Also removed the Cab 700 badges, so you won't know witch model Dodge it is. Took the front grille and removed the screen from it also, then puttied, filed and sanded. I don't know about you guys, but the stock 361 V-8 just is going to need a little help here. Put the blower in Clorox to de-chrome. Will paint it later. Filled in allot of sink holes with white putty, sanded and test fit on the chassis. Received a little package today from DWC. Pretty excited to try them out. They're in the Bleach white right now, to get the mold release film off.
Thanks Dicky and Boots. After soaking the chrome parts in Clorox, they cleaned up pretty nice. Didn't realize there was a sink hole and tree stubs in a few places. Will primer them and shoot with a little aluminum color later. Drilled the doors for mirror mounts and fitted the panels and hinges. They leave allot to desire. The rest of my tires came from A Main Hobbies. Now can check the ride height and clearances. Also got Jared out of the Bleach White, cleaned him all up and set him on the side walk for painting. Now to start plumbing the pneumatic lines and such.
Luigi, hope to pose Jared near the vehicle for scale and aviaunce . Hopefully the M2 will help curb his appetite ........ but not Andy's! Received some Plastruct 91682 Double Diamond plate sheets today, so can start on some of the armor also.

Thanks Andy and Leon!. Raised the chassis up a bit to accommodate the big meats. Started on the Camper shell, so to check clearances and weapons placement. Using a M21 roof mount for the M2, from a previous build.
