LOL too many cameras to keep track. I like to use the small pocket camera for the shows, easy to lug around and take a quick pic.

Well folks the show is over. It was an ok turn out, but not as good as the past two years. No biggie as this is the warm up for the show year.
I'd like to send a huge congrats to T for picking up a Silver for his Italian Job.....and a Gold for the Hitten in the tree,. Congrats bro, well deserved.
I got to check it out in person and can say it looks muuuuuch better up close. Just ask the others who were there.
Pete, Phil, good to hang and bs with you guys...even though you two and T were pushing Jap plane kits on me. LOL AMPS East is right around the corner....almost.

yep, got the Kate from Hasegawa in 1/48.....going to be some wingie chipping going on this summer. That T kept shoving Jap planes my way. Will post the few things I did get at the show in the next day or so.

Hey fellas!!! Awesome day hanging with friend...new and old!!! Always great hanging with the usual crew, Steve, Rob, Iain. Glad to meet with Pete and Phil and of course Thom!!! What a crew! Now if there was a beer garden!! WOW!!! I am processing the pics of the show and the guys....I also have a hefty list of goodies from the show!!! The newest member here, dedwuhd, is my good friend from work...Bob. Bob loves all the strange things I will walk right by....Batman stuff...Gundam (spelling)any and all things Sci-Fi. He actually won the raffle 4 times and I once....LOL 5 times!!! Then there was bargaining to be had!!! OK, back to downloading the pics and I will try and throw them up!!  |

It was a great show, good to hang out with MSC members I already knew and to finally meet others like Pete and Phil. ;D Congrats to all on their wins, always well deserved, even though I had to leave before they were anounced  . Re: my haul - the deals to be had this year were RIDICULOUS. Just finished the tally, walked out at 14.4% of retail. In other words, go to your LHS with an 85.6% off coupon (and no tax) and go nuts.
That's why my car was full!
