Anyone want to lay bets on how long it takes for trademark/copyright infringement lawsuit to be filed? The logos and packaging look VERY familiar...

Oh I'm sure that's a big part of it, but if the logos and such are trademarked/copyrighted (which usually includes the fonts, color schemes, etc. as part of the protections) then the legal argument can be made that these are deliberately designed to create confusion in the minds of the consumer...especially if they were carried side-by-side in the same store or sold through the same retail outlets. It can get ugly/messy real quick. Don't know what the laws are like in the EU, when looking at the AK Interactive site I don't see any TM or Registered trademark (circle-R) indications, so if they don't have those in place, it's the Wild West!

I posted the question on Armorama "Will there be a U.S. distributer?" and Mr. Hamilton replied that there would be. So that's good.

Great! at least we can still get the stuff, I think you will find that MIG is the owner of the designs/branding and also the actual products, AK was just the distributor. Good luck to him I say the range of useful products MIG has developed over the years certainly has helped my modelling
