thanks for the comments i stared the road wheels after work today i forgot how nice the tamiya kits go together are the road wheels steel? yup danb the tracks that came with the kit are not so good so they got replaced with the indy tracks from tamiya along with the grille set and sticker zim form tamiya and the barrel is from rb. i have seen some other stuff i might have to pick up but i do have on order is the numbers and knight on the horse to paint on we should of done a tiger group build i have a question about the air cleaners were these an add on for a region

I would be up for a Tiger GB at some point and im not sure what you mean about air cleaners? they were issued to Tiger 1's i have never seen cleaners on a King T there are different grills for late /early models tho is this what ya mean? All photos are for reference purposes only Early screens that cover front air vents Late version with Schurzen plates on vents or you can have just grills on all vents all depends on what ya want fella ;)choice choices choices ey Dan B

Thanks for the reply I thought the tam instructions called the top pic air cleaners that is the part I am talking about so if I were going to do a kt with zimmert it gets the early covers

Looking good Craig! I've heard that the Tamiya Zim stick-on stuff has very low relief on the zim detail so you have to be very careful to apply thin coats of paint to it as a result to avoid some of it 'disappearing' in the process. I've not used it myself, only read about others efforts with it. HTH!
