Nice to see the creature's back around in the rotation Marc, just keep him away from Gary, he's a bad influence!

Thanks for all the tips fellas. Gary you crack me up brotha! I ended up using gap filling CA. The problem at first was on 1 “bump” per dip in the glue. That would have taken forever. So I heated and stretched the end of a plastic pipette and just kept tapping little dots out. Not perfect but once painted at least it won’t be a bare strip running down the sides. And speaking of zippers... We were werent' we? Check out the back of the calves. This is not a model of the creature. Technically, it’s a model of Ben Chapman who played the role of “The Gill Man”, on land, in an un-credited role. Ricou Browning played the creature for the “in water” shots. Also un-credited.

CA worked a treat. Like the stretched end on the bottle, ingenious. Cant wait to see him in paint mate

Robbo, thanks. i use that stretched pipette trick all the time. With practice pulling it a bit faster you can can a super thin tube that give the tiniest drop of CA. great when gluing the fiddly bits. Thanks Steve. Yup.. filled and camouflaged (pic to come) Thanks Paul. If you had to get permission to stay up I am guessing it was when you were a little tyke and "tizer" isn't some form of hooch

Gray-scale bumpage and Tizer! What more could you ask for in a thread... Nice to see you've solved the seam issue there Marc. Personally I think the inclusion of the zippers is a nice touch, one I wouldn't have thought they would do IMHO.

After filling and sanding the zippers I pressed the fins into some silly putty for a mold and made some resin casts to cover the repairs. Did a little more bump work on the "leggings"

NOOO! Why did you cover those zippers? I would have made one look open then call it 'The barn is open'. Or maybe 'Your fly is open'? Or even better 'you are flying low'?
Kidding! Great work covering those zippers... funny those resin fins you created look better than the kit itself!
