I think you hit the nail right on the head T. I guess my biggest complaint with the DS tracks are that yucky flesh color they mold them in

Yeah Dragon are not consistant with thier 1/72 kits ..... even the quality of styrene changes from time to time . Another thing to note is the increase in the size of box you get ...... just makes the box look more bare when you open it lol

They could be getting ready to do wha they do with the 35's Deano...toss in everything but the kitchen sink...LOL!! The last one I had, had 1/2 a Brumbar in the kit...wouldn't be bad but it was the Pz.IV!! Jeff - At least with the newer DS, the acrylic paints somewhat bite into them unlike in the past.

I'll show you a bare box. Remember the ICM kit I ordered for the Got wheels/Got gun GB? That's a bare box Deano don't get me wrong, the kit looks pretty nice. I was just a little surprised when I opened it.

LOL...WOW! Then there is the Plastic Soldier kit...5 in 1 small box!! Maybe the box is made to make you THINK you are getting something more?? Box size unfortunately rarely has anything to do with the actual kit contents and much more with 'containerization'...meaning how many kits they can load into a carton that then loads into containers for shipment (whether air or sea) around the globe. That's the downside of international trade in our hobby! Boxes themselves are cheap and standardization saves on freight costs even if that seems a little counter-intuitive vs. the actual contents inside. Definitely gives you a bit of a let-down though when you open a box of mostly 'air'!

Remember the good old times when there were standard box sizes and the kit scale a conclusion of it?

All I can say is, if they turn off all the lights, you need to be careful

T - Another beauty sir and no mistake but you do realise that don't count as a full build!!! Hence it not making a gallery appearance!! Thinking I did pretty good though so far...53 reviews, 26 starts, 9 incomplete of those 26 (probability of completion...nill)...so far! 7 more review type thingies on deck and a partridge in a fringgin' pear tree!!
