I'll try to help with what I can.
First off take a look outside at things that are made from concrete. This is important because you can see the different color tones in concrete. This is due to weather and age. I start with a gray-green color. I have the older Vallejo model color #884 Stone Gray. I use this on small things/sections. For large areas I mix Tamyia paints to the same color as Vallejo #884. You can the use washes and filters to weather the concrete. Keep in mind it too depends on what and where the concrete is. Is it a wall, walk way ( side walk) or a road or larger area. IE: Vertical or horizontal surface.
If it's a wall you can then add dark and light streaks, rust streaks if there is a metal object. And of course Slimy Grime for algae, moss etc on the lower sections.
Vallejo makes a textured product, sandy paste in different tones. Rough Gray Pumice #26.213 200ml is perfect for making concrete. It is a thick paste with fine sand mixed in. You trowel this on the area and can texture it. It's gray so when dry you can start the weathering. I don't have the gray tones, just earth tones but they are similar. There is a Dark lava paste for Asphalt #26.214 These are the catelog numbers I have in my catalog from last year.
I hope this helps. Feel free ta ask any questions, that is what we are all here for...to share and learn.
