wow, didn't realise that could happen to the moisture trap...better check out mine...

I prefer AB'ing without the trap btw - I got the impression I lose pressure 'power' when using it (2 bar without trap attached and 2 bar with don't seem to be thesame to me), but I can't do without (very moist air in my basement...)

Yeah, i have to use one, there's a water trap on my compressor but it doesn't seem to catch it all and when your doing something like camo it will fire water through and ruin your work. No problems since i've added an inline trap. There's probably a lot of moist air in my garage where i work too.

I hear ya, got thesame issue, the water trap on my compressor doesn't catch any moist...quite strange! Now if I use the AB for too long and don't regularly use the little valve underneath the trap to release the condensed moisture, I still got water through the AB. Still, a livesaver indeed...would be a shame if a great camojob got ruined because of that.

Speaking of which...when's the new trap arriving?

Well it's been dispatched from Hong Kong so maybe the end of next week? It'll take me all that time to get the wheels and tracks done so it shouldn't be a problem.

Ok chaps, another quick update. That's the base coat of "dunklgelb" on and ready for the camo scheme.
All the wheels have had the base coat applied too and in the next few days i should get them finished along with the tracks.

Morning fellow MSC'ers seeing that Stu has been roaring ahead like a hare on RedBull i have been trying to catch up no paint from me but i have managed to complete the build stage bar the tracks they are in the post i have a few seams lines to finish sanding then this will be going into the paint shop

Stu great work fella on the paint work this will be a stunning model when finished i can feel it ;)keep up the hard work

Dicky thanks buddy shame you could not visit yesterday as you could of seen her in all her glory shes all in primer now i used Mr Hobby 1200 primer it is exactly the same as Tamiya fine primer in smell and performance could it be the same primer shared between the companies :/ i will leave this a couple of days to harden then i will start colouring in

Andy thanks buddy i really appreciate ya comment all i can say about the PE is i wish i started using it earlier in my modelling career glad ya like it fella

Hey chaps i have been splashing some colour around and had a go at trying some camo to match the ref pics im not 100 % happy with how its turned out but im not starting again so im going to finish it and use this as a practice piece colours i used.

Dunkelgelb: Tamiya XF-60 & XF-55 50-50 ratio
Green: Tamiya XF-58 mixed with above 80-20 ratio
Brown: Tamiya XF-64 with a few drops of Dunkelgelb mix
Thinned with Mr Hobby Laquer Thinner
