I should have a small update for you all tonight as im working the wheels trying out some rust effects i need your opinions i will post up pics after the bench session

As promised here is a small update on whats been going on with the Panther after the basecoat had dried filters were applied along side AK Nato wash as a pin wash then sealed with a light coat of clear then some oils were used then i had to come up with a plan on how to rust the inner road wheels where the road wheels meets the guide horns this is what i came up with

I started by using AK chipping colour and a sponge to chip the outer ring this also chips the over spray on the rubber part of the wheel





Then i used AK metal pigment and a lady tool to get a metallic basecoat for the rust





Then a Rust wash from AK





Using thinned LC rust shades 1&2 gave me the light fresh rust effect i wanted

Just purchased a Panther A late model from all the way over in Haltom City, Texas off Fleabay (none about in the UK !)  and you guys have inspired me to tuck in as soon as she arrives

Ok guys, update time!
Phase 1 and 2 of der camo are done, still to do phase 3 which is the dots, hundreds of them lol!
Very happy with how it has turned out so far. 
First up was RAL6011 B Resedagrun






Then it was RAL8017 Schokobraun









Reference pic i used was only one side of a Panther so just had to follow my instincts really with regard to the camo scheme for the rest but i think it's worked out ok..............thank the gods lol!

Sure did Luigi, just took my time and utilized the tips i've picked up from you guys on this very fine board!  I must be improving, never swore once today lol!

Dan, that's some nice wheel work there for sure. All the contact areas have that perfect 'just oxidized' look you would expect after it had been knocked out and sitting for a just a little bit.

Stuart, that's a sharp looking camo scheme you've got there. Very nice/tight work on the overlaps.

Greater spotted Panther!
Well that's the dots of madness done and i can just imagine one of these lurking in the trees waiting to pounce.
I'm off to lie down now and recover from the disorientation caused by the fuzzy blindness of dots that's swirling around the room lol!  Reminds me of a time long long ago..............in a galaxy far far away..................eh......mmmm

Now Stu has shown us his handy work i thought i would post up some progress on my big cat that did not get a chance to lurk in the shrubbery i have started applying some dirt dust and mud to the lower hull then i knocked up some highly thinned buff and added a light dust coat through the AB to the upper areas after that i used some AK european dirt pigments as a 2nd layer of dust next up some rain marks, speckling ,oil and grease then onto the wheels
