Thanks Gag. Yvan got some mad mojo! I think I just hooked myself on the whole SCI-FI scene. I am roaming the internet for a good base for a Jules Verne-esque submarine kit. What about the "Nautilus" from Pegasus Hobbies? That is exactly the kit I was interested in, it seems detailed enough, with pe also! Any insight on this particular kit Lucas?

Not yet Phil. But its exactly my area and therefore I really plan to get me that kit: steampunky enough for the showcase, highly detailed and I even dont have to create a base by myself. Just a bit pricey at this moment, Im waiting a bit until it gets a bit cheaper.

Also the rubber wheels are drybrushed to highlight the worn parts and base coated the handles on the mg...that I have forgotten base02 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr base03 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr base01 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr ACW!

I like the base, I suppose that Ivan would take care that not too much unwanted grass could spoil his precious spuds, so I'd go with your idea of some spread tufts

Hahahaha! Thx boots, I would love you guys come over the pond, we would have to meet somewhere in the north of the us so Big G. could meet us....But that would turn ugly for sure....Las Vegas style hehe. I've added moss on the base and currently working on adding dirt to soften the sandlike area.
More pics soon! BTW I went with epoxy to secure the old rust bucket to the base. I figure since it can't stand on its own I would never take it of the base...
