Sounds like you budgeted your available paint window wisely Tony! Nevermind Andy, he's just trying to figure out how to add more kits to his stash.

Great day in the Ozarks to get a bit of painting done. W H E E L S The camo scheme is a little more complicated and with cold and windy weather due to return tonight it maybe awhile before I can do that but at least I can weather the lower hull in the mean time. Later Tony lee Now that's a colorful combo !

When you're hot you're hot When you're not you're not
I think it looks kinda crappy right at the moment Gary and i'm hopeful that the weathering helps it out.
Thanks buddy Tony lee

Ahhhh, you can pull it off Tony. Doesn't look THAT hard!
Do you always weather the running gear/lower hull before moving up to paint the top half?

I sometimes do Dupes and sometimes just the basic base colors that way I can color the tracks and get those on and not have to take them off again. We'll see about how easy the camo will be Tony lee

It's actually very similar to this MiG-21 scheme I did I don't even KNOW how long ago (is there a way to tell when you uploaded something to Photobucket? Can't seem to find anything). If anything, the straight-ish nature of the dunkelgelb lines should make it even easier to pull off.

Hey Tony, What I should try is, making long worms with Blue Tack put them where your yellow line must come and spray on the green next to it, then cover the green and spray the brown. I never done it myself yet but I saw some good results with this technique.

Eddy that's just what I had in mind because the pattern has soft edges and you get that with Blue Tac. I feel wormy anyway That paint job is wild Dupes. WOW Later Folks Tony lee

Late in on this one Tony. A joy to read the prev. pages. The build just went together like 'that' it seems. Say, did you do the tracks in one day ? I bought a set for my Elefant, and almost went mental. drilling all links an sore fingertips... Tony terminator do it With no sweat .. :-)

Almost Sollie if you count just the time I did them in about 4 1/2 hours. I only had to drill a few. The Elefant tracks went real fast, didn't need to drill any. It's the tiny ones that give me sore finger tips. Thanks for the company Tony lee

Hi All For seven hours I worked on this scheme and was a nervous wreck the whole time being unsure of the outcome. I rolled out a bunch of Blu-Tac ropes and laid out a pattern then I sprayed the LifeColor Olivgrun followed by Tamiya Nato Brown for the stripes. I let it dry for about a half hour before peeling off the Blu-Tac that I think I mashed down to much creating pretty wide stripes. No big deal still works for me. Sure glad that's behind me and I can relax now. Critique Time Folks, lay it on me Tony lee
