Tankyou so much for the positive comments chaps when i was adding the layers of Alclads i was thinking silver was a bit bright for it to be realistic but with the chipping it tones it down quite a bit more on this soon...... Dan B

Thanks Wouts its progressing slowly at the moment but i will have an update in the next few days as the cab and rear deck is being weathered so many bits need different styles of weathering and metal work its the most simplest build stage and hardest paint job for me so far :/

Very nice chipping and weathering. I think it was just as well that the base colour was so bright as it's now looking looking it's meant to be, a civi truck in military service. A darker or flatter colour would have been to 'drab' to start with... If you know what I mean

Cheers Wouter theres not much to share really the interior was painted with Tamiya and Citadel acrylics then a pin wash using AK's Nato wash once dry AK's Dust Effects were thinned with white spirit and used as a wash i changed the mix ratios for varying amounts of dust then to finish i used cat litter to spread around in the foot wells then fixed with AK's Gravel Sand Fixer The rear deck was chipped with AK's chipping colour using a brush and sponge then a pin wash and dusting as above Hope this helps ya buddy Dan B

A few more bits and bobs have been done today 1st up i weathered the chassis primed in black then i mixed up some Tamiya brown with a few drops of black as a basecoat once this dried a light wash was applied using AK Dust effects thinned with white spirit then it was onto the pigments and some washes then TAAADAAAAA Then i moved onto chipping up the front of the truck same chipping scenario was used here as the rear bed a pin wash and some matt coat to give it a worn finish with some shoddy on my part Libyan propaganda im not a happy bunny nearly at the home straight now just a few bits to get done now Hope you chaps like her Dan B
