Yep, that's one cool looking LAV, so much so, I have just returned from the garage with my unstarted kit.
Neat job Leon, very nice.

Leon I was wondering if Hebel could be used to make those barriers, I don't know if you've heard of it as it maybe called something else overseas. Basically it's aerated concrete but it's nearly as lite as balsa wood, it's easy to cut, filed or sand to shape. You could also plaster it to give it a smoother finish if needed as it is aerated. They make sculptures out of it over here and in fact my house is made out of it. The best thing it's only about $6-$8 for a piece roughly about the size of a large concrete block, anyway it's just a thought I had to save a Dollar $$$. Leon by the time I finished typing this I decided to have a search to see if it had been used in modelling... lo and behold I found this Rocky Creek Railway Bridge so I can't claim that as an original idea but that site does show in detail what I mean. I'm glad you like that photo guys and I think because of the scouting role this vehicle plays it's common for a LAV to be packed with supplies for missions. Here's another couple that I came across.
