I have a fair bit of researching to do but that wont hold me back from building the basics i.e running gear ..... updating shortly .

So here we are , a few hours of building and some quick progress ...... runing gear is ready for tracks but will do those tomorrow........ Cut the front fender off and will also cut the side skirts to give it a more used and abused look ........... Joined the turret halves so I can work on that inbetween fitting the tracks.... Size comparison and I didnt realise it was such a large MBT ... anyhoo kit is good and the build is fun which are the main things

Hi guys , progress is good although it could be better if I stopped gaming lol ... anyhoo got running gear completed so Im gonna get that painted up and the hull peices joined .............. I am knocking this tank out but not wrecking it so there will be damage . Also chopped the side skirts to reveal most of the running gear ........ I would say most of the work is in the turret which is cool as it allows mme to work on that when painting the lower hull

Thanks guys , yeah this kit is great ... cant recommend it enough ..... infact I gotta get the t-80 and 90 now as I am developing a hunger for post-war Soviet/Russian armour in a big way .... didnt realise so many other nations used it ... brilliant!

Thanks guys , yeah Andy less playing and more building buddy .............. ok more progress............ When you join the upper hull to the tub there is a large gap which would never be seen but I couldnt live with it . Seems to be an area Revell have skipped on but its not a big deal considering the quality of the kit in the first place . The level of detail on the underside is very good as you can see ... nice touch Revell! Base colours are on the running gear plus I have sealed it with future for the next stage ......... Upper hull has a perfect fit now with no gaps

Thanks Dicky , yeah yer not wrong ... Revell give several leading brands a run for thier money ... stuff they make themselves is spot on , really looking forward to getting my hands on the t-90

Nice job D. With the exception of the upper/lower Hull issue the fit and finish look good. Well played Sir.

Rolling right along Deano! Looking forward to more on this one. I hear you about the hull, kind of reminds me of the 'open sponson' problem with Tamiya kits.

T series tanks were the most common tanks of third world nations. T-54/55 variants were used in almost every conflict from their inception... And also in Afghanistan along with T-62... T-72 and T-80 variants were involved in Chechen wars, and so on
